Housing Indiana is proud to announce
the successful build of a community garden initiative at Union at Wiley.
Through our support, residents now have access to four newly constructed garden
beds that will serve as a vibrant green space for the entire community.
This project exemplifies our commitment to creating
sustainable, community-centered living environments. The garden beds will
enable residents to grow their own fresh produce, foster neighborhood
connections, and develop valuable gardening skills.
Community gardens like these do more than just
beautify spaces—they promote food security, encourage healthy eating habits,
and create opportunities for meaningful social interaction among neighbors of
all ages and backgrounds. We look forward to seeing how this garden flourishes
in the coming seasons and the positive impact it will have on the Union at
Wiley community. This is exactly the kind of neighborhood-enhancing project
that Impact Housing Indiana is dedicated to supporting and creating.
